Daisy Chain Book Co.

In the summer of 2018, Brandi Morpurgo unveiled Daisy Chain Book Co, Alberta's first bookshop on wheels. The truck delighted readers across Alberta, stopping at farmers markets, private parties, and other events across the province. I created a video documenting her boutique book business for my YEG Stories project.

Although the book truck is no longer cruising the streets, Daisy Chain has expanded into a brick-and-mortar bookstore in the High Street neighbourhood of Edmonton. Now, instead of an always-mobile shop, Daisy Chain Book Co has a permanent home that invites readers into a central community. You’ll find the same great stories and the same bubbly host waiting to greet you!
